Depart from Noosa Marina for about 1.5 hours aboard a RIB boat, cruising the Noosa River and the waters around Noosa Heads in search of wild bottlenose dolphins. A maximum of 12 passengers sit in six rows of two, so everyone gets a window seat, and the skipper provides entertaining and informative commentary throughout.
First, cruise up the Noosa River and enjoy the scenery from the water. Then head out around Noosa Heads to see the Hells Gates coastal track, Noosa National Park and Sunshine Beach, sights best appreciated from the water.
The local dolphins know the boat well, so you can watch them dive in and out of the water, feed and socialise in pods up close. The boat is the same type of nimble RIB used by the Navy, Coast Guard and Water Police. Keep your camera close to capture the moment you meet the dolphins.
※ Wildlife lives in its natural environment, so sightings are not guaranteed.
