You are picked up at your hotel in Abisko and take a short guided hike of about 3 to 4 km in Abisko National Park. The tour is held in English, groups are limited to 10 people, and it takes about 2 hours. Your guide leads you along one of the most beautiful local trails, such as the trail that winds along the scenic Abisko river canyon, and through old mountain birch forest.

Enjoy wide-open views over the Abisko river delta, towering mountain peaks and the scenery around Lake Torneträsk. There is time to take photos of the landscape, so bring your camera.
Hear stories of the Arctic from your guide
All guides are well trained and share their knowledge of the signs left by local wildlife, the indigenous people of the region and life in the Arctic. With luck you may also see animals such as reindeer, mountain hares, foxes, various birds and Scandinavian elk.
