This small-group tour lasts about 3 hours and takes you out from Abisko on an electric snowmobile to look for the northern lights. The group has a maximum of 8 people, and a certified English-speaking guide goes with you. You are picked up at a pickup point in Abisko or Björkliden and dropped off at the end of the tour.

Two people share each snowmobile

Snowmobiles are shared, with 2 people on each one. You can drive the two-person snowmobile yourself with a friend, and because the snowmobiles are electric with no engine noise, you travel quietly. A driver's license is required for this tour.

Thermal suits, boots, gloves, a balaclava, and a helmet are provided, so you have less to worry about on a cold night.

Ride through quiet valleys and open plateaus

As darkness falls, you ride across quiet valleys and open plateaus with panoramic views of a sky full of stars. Your guide takes you to the most beautiful and remote places in the area, shares local knowledge, and stops often so you can enjoy the views and the stillness.

Enjoy snacks and hot drinks while waiting for the aurora

While you wait for the northern lights to appear, you enjoy snacks and hot drinks. If you are lucky, you may see the aurora dancing in the sky.
