You meet an English-speaking cultural guide outside Anguk Station Exit 6. The group is limited to 6 participants, and both venues are indoors, so it goes ahead regardless of the weather.

Enjoy a seasonal course lunch at a Bib Gourmand restaurant

The restaurant has been named in the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand eight times since 2018. You taste a multi-course seasonal set menu that includes soup, salad, rice and seasonal side dishes.

Your guide stays with you throughout the meal and explains the philosophy behind each dish as it arrives.

Sip tea at a traditional tea house in Insadong

After the meal, you walk to a traditional tea house in Insadong, one of Seoul's oldest cultural districts. Over traditional Korean tea, your guide explains how the food you just ate connects to Korean philosophy and history.

Talk about Korean food culture in a small group

With a maximum of 6 participants, the experience is a conversation rather than a one-way lecture. You can ask your guide anything, from the ingredients on your plate to how Korean food culture has changed over the past 100 years.
