Seoul - Daejeon Jangtaesan Foliage, Hanbat Arboretum and Sungsimdang Bus Tour

This bus tour takes you from Seoul to Jangtaesan Recreational Forest, Hanbat Arboretum and Sungsimdang DCC Branch in Daejeon in one day. Depart from Hongik Univ. Station, Namsan Yejang Public Parking Lot (Myeongdong) or Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, with a guide who leads the tour in Korean, English and Chinese. The total duration is about 11 to 13.5 hours.

Walk among the metasequoias at Jangtaesan Recreational Forest

Jangtaesan Recreational Forest has more than 6,300 metasequoia trees up to 38 m tall. In autumn, the whole forest is said to turn a warm golden orange.

Cross the sky bridge, walk the forest paths and take photos at scenic viewpoints. You spend about 2 hours 30 minutes at the forest.

Stroll the ponds and gardens of Hanbat Arboretum

At Hanbat Arboretum in downtown Daejeon, you can see a variety of plants, quiet ponds and winding garden paths. You get about 80 minutes for photos and free time to relax.

Stop at Sungsimdang DCC Branch before heading back to Seoul

Before returning to Seoul, you stop for about 30 minutes at Sungsimdang DCC Branch, a well-known bakery in Daejeon, to browse and buy bread and pastries.

The bus ride from Seoul to Daejeon takes about 3 hours 40 minutes, and the ride back takes about 3 hours 50 minutes.
