This small-group hike starts at Hyehwa Station and follows Hanyangdoseong, the Seoul City Wall. The route links Bugaksan, Inwangsan, Namsan and Naksan Park, so you take in forest trails, city views and 600 years of history. Enjoy a Korean meal and tea at a local market, and if you complete the full 18.6 km, you receive an official badge and certificate issued by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. There are two courses, the full course (about 8-9 hours) and the half course (about 4-5 hours), and groups are limited to 8 people.

Start at Hyehwa Station and
walk along Hanyangdoseong
Meet your guide in front of Exit 1 of Hyehwa Station for a small-group hike along the Seoul City Wall (Hanyangdoseong). Built in 1396 to protect the capital of Joseon, the wall encircles the historic center of Seoul, linking the four main gates and crossing four mountains.
You can choose between the full 18.6 km course (about 8-9 hours) and the half course (about 4-5 hours). The highest point is only 338 m above sea level, so people with average fitness can take it on, and your guide leads the way through sections where the wall is broken.
Walk the ridges of Bugaksan and Inwangsan

You pass Bugaksan Cheongundae and Inwangsan, walking forest paths and ridgelines. You rest in each section, take photos and enjoy views of the city skyline.
One moment you walk through a lively neighborhood and the next you stand surrounded by forest, which is the charm of this route.
Eat at Namdaemun Market and climb Namsan

Along the way you stop at Namdaemun Market for about an hour and enjoy a Korean meal and tea at a local market. It is not a restaurant for tourists, so you get a feel for local life.
After the meal, you walk the Namsan section with N Seoul Tower and enjoy more views.
Pass Naksan Park and return to Hyehwa-dong

Continue the hike through Naksan Park. The full course returns via Hyehwa-dong and ends at Hyehwa Station Exit 1.
If you complete the full 18.6 km, you receive an official badge and certificate issued by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The half course ends near 43 Toegye-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul.
※ The itinerary and route may change depending on weather and local conditions.
※ Wild animals live in their natural habitat, so sightings are not guaranteed.
※ The official badge and certificate are given only to those who complete the full 18.6 km.
