Make a mini gayageum
in a studio overlooking Bukchon

In a studio near Anguk Station Exit 1, you assemble a 1/5-scale mini gayageum from a maple kit with an expert who has 26 years of gayageum experience. You take the finished mini gayageum home as a souvenir. Choose the mini gayageum only option or the premium package that includes a gayageum lesson. The instructor leads in English, Japanese and Korean.

Assemble the gayageum from a maple kit

You build a 1/5-scale model from a kit made of maple, the same material used in real gayageum. As you assemble the strings and other parts yourself, you learn how the instrument is built and how it works, with the instructor guiding you through the assembly.

Look out over Bukchon through large studio windows

The studio's large windows look out over Bukchon Hanok Village. While you work, the instructor tells you about the history and culture of the gayageum and Korean music.

Add a gayageum lesson with the premium package

The premium package starts with an 80-minute gayageum lesson, followed by a 60-minute mini gayageum workshop. Hanbok and a printed photo are included.

If you choose the mini gayageum only option, only the workshop is included and there is no hanbok experience.
