This is a 3-hour small-group jewelry class at a workshop space on Namdaemun-ro 1-gil in Jung District, Seoul. You hand-carve a jewelry wax block into a ring or pendant, and the finished wax model is professionally cast in silver. You learn with an instructor who guides in English and Korean, and each session is limited to 2 guests. Your name is also engraved in Korean free of charge.

Cut and carve a wax block into your own design

You start from a jewelry wax block and design your own piece from scratch. Cut, carve, shape, add details and smooth the surface to create the form and texture you want. You can choose to make either a ring or a pendant.

Bringing ideas, sketches or reference photos makes it easier to develop your design. If you are not sure where to start, you will be guided through the tools and basic carving techniques.

Sit side by side with your instructor for personal guidance

With a maximum of 2 guests per session, you can ask for help right away on tricky parts of the carving and talk through your design. You can sit and work side by side with a friend or partner, and if you join alone you may share the session with another guest.

Silver casting, packaging and delivery to your home

Once your wax model is finished, it is professionally cast in silver, then cleaned and finished so it is ready to wear. The finished jewelry is packed and shipped to your home, so you do not need to carry an unfinished piece around during your trip. Free international shipping is available to over 40 countries, and pieces usually arrive within 2 to 4 weeks.
