This cruise of about 5 hours takes you by yacht from Istanbul along the Bosphorus, the strait dividing Europe and Asia, to the mouth of the Black Sea. Admire Dolmabahçe Palace, Rumeli Fortress and the Bosphorus bridges from the boat while an English-speaking guide shares the history and sights of Istanbul. Enjoy a two-course lunch on board and go ashore for a stroll in Anadolu Kavağı, a seaside village on the Asian side at the entrance to the Black Sea. In summer, there is also time for a swim in a quiet Black Sea cove.
Meet in front of Dolmabahçe Mosque in Kabataş, board the yacht and head north along the Bosphorus, where Europe meets Asia. From the boat you will see Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Ortaköy, Rumeli Fortress, the Bosphorus Bridge, the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge one after another.
The onboard guide tells the stories behind the palaces, mansions and landmarks along the strait in English. The cruise from the Bosphorus to the Black Sea lasts about 4 to 5 hours.
Feel the sea breeze while enjoying a two-course lunch of Turkish dishes. Soft drinks, a fruit platter, tea and coffee are also served. Alcoholic drinks are not included.
Go ashore at Anadolu Kavağı, a seaside village on the Asian side at the mouth of the Black Sea, and stay for about 1 hour. Stroll leisurely through streets lined with seafood restaurants, cafés and colorful houses. A short walk uphill takes you to Yoros Castle, a Byzantine-era fortress with sweeping views of the Bosphorus and the Black Sea.
In summer, the yacht anchors in a quiet cove with clear water so you can go for a swim. If you prefer not to swim, you can relax on deck. On the way back, you pass Anadolu Fortress, Beylerbeyi Palace and the Maiden's Tower and return to Istanbul under the afternoon sun.
※ The swimming stop takes place only in the high season (summer).
