Program
Depart from Dolmabahçe
and sail the Bosphorus toward the Black Sea
Meet at the entrance of Dolmabahçe Mosque, board the boat and sail along the Bosphorus toward the Black Sea for about 5 hours. A professional English-speaking guide explains the history of the Bosphorus and the sights along the way, and you can take photos and enjoy the views from the open-air deck.
See palaces and fortresses on both shores
Pass Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace and Ortaköy, then sail under the Bosphorus Bridge connecting Asia and Europe. Continue past Arnavutköy, Rumeli Fortress, the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, admiring the castles, palaces and old mansions on both shores.
Stop at the fishing village of Anadolu Kavağı
Dock at Anadolu Kavağı, a fishing village on the Asian side near the Black Sea, and stay for about an hour. Walk the green hills, explore the ruins of the medieval fortress on the hilltop and enjoy sweeping views where the Bosphorus meets the Black Sea.
Admire the Asian shore on the way back
Return past Anadolu Fortress, Beylerbeyi Palace and Üsküdar toward the Golden Horn, the Galata Bridge and Galataport Istanbul. During the cruise, a two-course lunch with fresh seasonal fruit, snacks, water, tea and soft drinks are served, and the tour ends back at Dolmabahçe Mosque.
