and start your night walk to the Pantheon

Meet your guide in Piazza di Pasquino, right next to Piazza Navona, to start the tour. Piazza Navona sits on top of the stadium where ancient Romans watched athletic games, and Gian Lorenzo Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers stands in the middle. From here, walk five minutes to the Pantheon, the iconic monument of the Roman Empire famous for its concrete dome built without steel reinforcement.

See the Trevi Fountain on a quiet night

Pass the Church of Sant'Ignazio and head to the Trevi Fountain at the quietest time of day. Take photos of the fountain under the moonlight, hear your guide explain its symbolism, and toss a coin over your shoulder so you'll return to Rome.

Walk through Piazza Venezia and Via dei Fori Imperiali

Stroll along winding backstreets to Piazza Venezia and look around from the foot of Capitoline Hill to the Altar of the Fatherland while learning about the area's history. Then go down to Via dei Fori Imperiali, the avenue crossing ancient Rome, passing Trajan's Column and walking along the Forums of Trajan, Augustus and Nerva.

Finish in front of the illuminated Colosseum

End the tour outside the Colosseum, Rome's most famous monument, while hearing a little more about ancient Rome and the Roman Empire. Entry inside is not included.
