Starting from Piazzale Flaminio, this tour takes you by golf cart through the historic streets and squares of central Rome. A local guide accompanies you, and at major sights you get off briefly to take photos or listen to the guide. The tour ends at the Spanish Steps.

Pass through Villa Borghese and Via Veneto

Enter Villa Borghese, Rome's central park, and stop briefly at the Pincio Terrace. From here you can enjoy views of Piazza del Popolo and the rooftops of Rome. Then pass Porta Pinciana and follow Via Veneto, famous from the film "La Dolce Vita", passing Piazza Barberini, Palazzo Barberini and Piazza delle Quattro Fontane with its four fountains.

See the Colosseum and the ruins of ancient Rome

Pass the Quirinal Palace, the residence of the President of Italy, and continue via Salita del Grillo behind the Roman Forum to the Colosseum. Then see the Circus Maximus, where chariot races were held, and depending on the queue, peek through the keyhole at Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta. At the Forum Boarium, see the Mouth of Truth and two of Rome's oldest temples. Passing the ruins of the Theatre of Marcellus, explore the Vittoriano at Piazza Venezia and Capitoline Hill, designed by Michelangelo.

From the Pantheon to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps

Visit the Pantheon, the best-preserved ancient Roman building, and enjoy the fountains and atmosphere of Piazza Navona, built on the ancient Stadium of Domitian. You can toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, and the tour finishes at the Spanish Steps.
