At Oryori Yamada, you can feel the cozy atmosphere of a restaurant where fresh seasonal ingredients that convey the taste of the season, elegant tableware that highlights the taste, and every nook and cranny is meticulously decorated with a Japanese atmosphere.

Although it is a small shop run by a couple and not a restaurant with many full-time employees, they serve their customers with the utmost sincerity in each and every dish.

Master Chef Kazuyuki Yamada 's Story

Chef Kazuyuki Yamada has a long career at Tokyo Takehatei and Hana Koji Sawada. After that, he worked as an instructor at the Kyoden Culinary Institute and worked in the opening, cooking, and management of various restaurants for 18 years. Now, he has established Oryori Yamada in November 2017 to put his thick career to use and provide delicious food to customers under his own name.

It is designed with a quiet Japanese interior that is perfect for enjoying the charming and delicate traditional Japanese cuisine, 'Kaiseki'. There are 5 counter seats and table seats (2 private rooms - total of 4 to 15 people).

What is Kaiseki?

Since this restaurant is a kaiseki specialty restaurant using seasonal ingredients, the chef decides what to cook based on the ingredients of the day to provide you with the best enjoyment. Therefore, the ingredients and number of items served each day are different.

You can choose from these four options, and the quality of ingredients used will vary depending on the price. It is served as an omakase, focusing on vegetables or grilled fish dishes, and since it uses the freshest seasonal ingredients, the menu is different every time, so it is difficult to explain exactly what kind of menu you can taste.
But please come with the expectation that you will be able to taste delicious food.

At Oryori Yamada, minors over the age of 12 must order the adult course, and everyone in your party must reserve the same course. Also, if you are wearing clothes that are not suitable for dining, such as shorts, slippers, ripped jeans, or T-shirts, you may be denied entry.

Lastly, Japanese restaurants are strict about time reservations, so if you are more than 15 minutes late to the restaurant, your reservation may be canceled. We recommend that you arrive on time for your reservation.
