This island-hopping tour takes you by speedboat to Sapi Island and Manukan Island in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, off the coast of Kota Kinabalu. Snorkel among the coral reefs at Sapi Island, try local dishes at the lunch buffet, then cross to Manukan Island to relax on the beach and walk the nature trail. Mask, snorkel, life jacket and a beach picnic setup are included, and you can choose between an option with hotel pickup and an option meeting directly at Star Marina Jetty. Take a speedboat from Star Marina
to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park
With the hotel transfer option, meet the driver in your hotel lobby around 8:30 AM and drive about 15 minutes to Star Marina Jetty. Without hotel transfer, meet the guide at Star Marina Jetty. After a safety briefing of about 15 minutes, board the speedboat for a ride of about 15 minutes to the marine park.
Enjoy snorkeling and a lunch buffet on Sapi Island
Arrive at Sapi Island around 9:00 AM and spend about 3 hours snorkeling among the coral reefs in clear water, swimming or relaxing on the white sand. Water sports such as parasailing, sea walking, banana boat rides and jet skiing can be added on site if you wish (extra cost).
Around noon, enjoy a lunch buffet with a variety of local dishes on Sapi Island and rest for about 1 hour.
Explore the beach and nature trail on Manukan Island
Around 1:00 PM, take a speedboat ride of about 10 minutes to Manukan Island. For about 2 hours, you can snorkel, sunbathe or walk along the nature trail and take in the island scenery.
Return to the jetty to finish the tour
Around 3:00 PM, return by boat to Star Marina Jetty. With the hotel transfer option, you are driven back to your hotel.
