This product is a one-way reserved-seat ticket for the Sagano Romantic Train "Sagano No. 1" from Torokko Saga Station to Torokko Kameoka Station. Sagano No. 1 departs Torokko Saga Station at 09:02, stops at Torokko Arashiyama (09:05) and Torokko Hozukyo (09:13), and arrives at Torokko Kameoka Station at 09:25.

The train runs on the old JR San-in Main Line tracks that were no longer used after the line was double-tracked and electrified, covering 7.3 km from Torokko Saga Station near JR Saga-Arashiyama Station to Torokko Kameoka Station in about 25 minutes.

Enjoy seasonal views along the Hozu River gorge

Most of the line runs along the Hozu River, so the gorge scenery unfolds outside the window. You can see different views each season, such as cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer and autumn leaves in autumn.
