From Melbourne: Penguin Parade & Puffing Billy Train Tour - English & Chinese Guide

Depart Melbourne and
stop at Brighton Beach

Depart from the Melbourne pickup point you selected when booking (270 Queen St, 220 Spencer St or Melbourne Marriott Hotel). An English- and Chinese-speaking driver-guide accompanies you in an air-conditioned vehicle. First, stop for about 30 minutes at Brighton Beach, lined with colorful bathing boxes, to look around and take photos. Brighton Beach may be skipped depending on the train schedule.

Ride the Puffing Billy steam train through the Dandenong Ranges

Board Puffing Billy, one of Australia's oldest steam trains, and enjoy about 45 minutes of natural scenery in the Dandenong Ranges. A one-way train ticket is included. Afterward, you can meet native wildlife up close for about 1 hour at Maru Koala & Animal Park if you wish (optional, at your own expense).

Admire coastal views from the Nobbies lookout

Spend about 30 minutes at the Nobbies lookout on Phillip Island, enjoying sweeping coastal views and a variety of wildlife. Dinner can be enjoyed at the Nobbies Centre or in Cowes at your own expense.

Watch little penguins at the Penguin Parade

After sunset, spend about 1.5 hours at the Penguin Parade watching little penguins emerge from the sea and waddle across the beach to their burrows. Afterward, return to your drop-off point in Melbourne.
