From Seoul: Gimpo Aegibong DMZ Observatory Tour - Hongdae, City Hall & Myeongdong Meeting Points

Depart from central Seoul and
visit Aegibong Peace Eco Park in Gimpo

This observatory tour near the DMZ leaves from the meeting point of the option you choose (Hongik Univ. Station, City Hall Station, or Myeongdong Station) and heads to Aegibong Peace Eco Park in Gimpo. You visit the park, the Peace Eco Exhibition Hall, and Jogang Observatory, and look across the river toward North Korea.

A live guide speaking English, Chinese, or Japanese joins you, and transport and admission are included. After a stop at the Hyundai Outlet, the tour ends at Seoul City Hall. The tour takes about 7 hours.

Cross a suspension bridge into the eco park

Aegibong Peace Eco Park is a former observatory that has been remodeled into an eco park. On the way to the observatory you cross a suspension bridge, then explore the eco exhibition hall and the eco walking trail with your guide for about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Look toward North Korea from Jogang Observatory

You spend about 1 hour at Jogang Observatory with your guide. Free telescopes in front of the observatory let you take a closer look at the open sky, the flowing river, and the land of North Korea beyond.

Take a break at the Starbucks by the observatory

In front of the observatory there is a Starbucks overlooking the sky, the river, and North Korea. Food and drinks are not included, so order any drinks you want on site.
