Leave Seoul for the
main sights of the Paju DMZ
This guided tour starts at Anguk, Myeongdong or Hongik Univ. (Hongdae) Station and continues by minibus or van to the DMZ in Paju. With an English-speaking guide, you visit Imjingak Peace Nuri Park, the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, Dora Observatory and Tongilchon Village. All entrance fees are included, the group is limited to 13 people, and the tour takes about 7 to 9 hours.
Depending on the option you choose, you can add a live talk with a North Korean defector, or a visit to the Majang Lake suspension bridge and Bogwangsa Temple.
Start at Imjingak Peace Nuri Park

At Imjingak Peace Nuri Park, you see the Mangbaedan altar, the Freedom Bridge and the Jangdan Station steam locomotive while your guide explains the history. Expect about 30 minutes around the Imjingak Tourist Information Center and about 20 minutes at the Freedom Bridge.
See the Third Tunnel and
Dora Observatory

You explore the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel for about 1 hour with your guide, then spend about 50 minutes at Dora Observatory looking toward North Korea. The tour then stops at Tongilchon Village for about 20 minutes.
Add a live talk with a North Korean defector
If you choose the live talk option, you walk through exhibits on daily life in North Korea and watch a short documentary. A North Korean defector then shares their escape story, followed by a Q&A session where you can ask your own questions.
Cross the Majang Lake bridge and visit Bogwangsa

On the Majang Lake option, you have about 40 minutes to cross the suspension bridge, walk along the lakeshore and take photos. At Bogwangsa Temple, you stroll the grounds for about 30 minutes and learn briefly about the temple’s history, architecture and role in Korean Buddhist culture.
Lunch (about 1 hour) is a traditional mountain vegetable meal at a local restaurant near the temple. Meat dishes are available, and your guide helps you choose and order. The meal is at your own expense.
※ The live talk and the Majang Lake bridge and Bogwangsa Temple visit are only included in the options that list them.
※ The itinerary may change depending on local conditions.
