Seoul - DMZ Third Tunnel and Dora Observatory Tour - Meet at Hongik Univ. Station Exit 9, Lunch Included

Depart from Hongik Station to visit
the Third Tunnel and Dora Observatory

This 7.5-hour tour starts when you meet your guide at Hongik University Station Exit 9 and travel to the DMZ. You visit Imjingak Peace Nuri Park, the Third Tunnel, Dora Observatory and Tongilchon Village, have lunch at a local restaurant, and return to Hongik University Station.

The tour runs in groups of up to 12 people. A local guide who completed military service in Korea explains the history of the Korean Peninsula and the current situation of the DMZ in English.

Visit Imjingak Peace Nuri Park and the Third Tunnel

You first spend about 1.5 hours exploring Imjingak Peace Nuri Park with your guide. Then you visit the Third Tunnel, one of the DMZ’s best-known sites, for about 1.5 hours of guided touring and walking.

Look toward North Korea from Dora Observatory

At Dora Observatory, you spend about 1 hour looking across the border toward North Korea while your guide explains what you see. Photography is strictly regulated in the DMZ, so please take photos only at designated spots your guide points out.

Stop at Tongilchon Village and enjoy a local lunch

At Tongilchon Village, you have about 30 minutes to rest, walk around and shop. After that, you have lunch with local food at a local restaurant for about 1 hour, then ride back to Hongik University Station.
