Ishigaki: Miyara River Mangrove SUP or Canoe 2-Hour Tour

The tour through the beautiful mangroves was great. It was a bit hot and I think there is less wind than at other locations like Kabira Bay; but that could also just be the weather on that day. Our guide Nonoka did a perfect job of introducing the kanu and SUP and leading us through the trip. She provided information about the island and local fauna along the way. I especially appreciated the pickup at the hotel and drop-off at the showers at the harbor. The tour is a very much recommendable activity on Ishigaki!

Netter, kurzer Ausflug in die Natur. Die Strecke ist auch ohne große Kanu Vorkenntnisse machbar und die Mangroven sind beeindruckend. Die Guides waren sehr hilfsbereit und mit Händen und Füßen konnten wir uns auch verständigen. Leider konnten sie entgegen der Buchungsbeschreibung so gut wie kein Englisch, so dass Erklärungen für mich nicht nutzbar waren. Andere Guides von der Tour können wohl besser Englisch

Our guide Makoto was great, she is strong, friendly and did everything efficiently, she took tons of photos too. The scenery was beautiful and we did very well with sup without falling at all. Very enjoyable and highly recommended.

My partner and I had a fantastic time on our tour. Our guide, Aoi, was very friendly and enthusiastic throughout our trip and was kind enough to take plenty of photos of us while we kayaked to send to us later. He also had a lot of knowledge to share about the plants and animals around the Miyara River which really added to our experience. Overall, we would highly recommend this tour to all those visiting Ishigaki and seeking a relaxing, nature-based activity.

Very helpful and cheerful guide. Beautiful nature. More of a family-friendly river stroll than a sporting challenge.
