St. Patrick's Cathedral was first built in 1858 based on a design by James Renwick, Jr. who sought to revive the Gothic style, and opened in 1879, and is still loved as one of New York City's most iconic buildings. Inspired by the Gothic architecture of medieval Europe, the cathedral is characterized by pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and gorgeous stained glass windows.

• Magnificent Gothic architecture: you'll see a magnificent cathedral measuring 100 meters long, 53 meters wide, and topped with a spire that reaches 100 meters high.
• Stained Glass : The interior of the cathedral is decorated with beautiful stained glass, most of which is said to have been made in France. The large rose window at the east end of the cathedral is particularly famous.
• Pipe Organ : The cathedral has two pipe organs. The main organ has 7,855 pipes and the auxiliary organ has 3,920 pipes and is mainly used for mass and special events.
• Altar and Reliquary : The central altar and main reliquary are the most important parts of the cathedral, and contain sculptures depicting important figures from the Bible and the life of Jesus Christ.
