The Asian Civilisations Museum in Singapore is located on the banks of the Singapore River and is a pale yellow neoclassical building, formerly used as a courthouse. It is one of the four major museums in Singapore and was the only museum in Singapore to be ranked among the top 10 museums in Asia in 2014, making it one of the first museums in the South Seas to study pan-Asian cultures and civilisations.

The museum mainly studies the history of civilizations in China, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Asia, and displays a variety of works, including exquisite ceramic figurines, Taoist and Buddhist figurines, imported ceramics, calligraphy, and other decorative arts.
