BESTI showed the voucher and got a sticker to put on my clothes. Probably most of the art galleries/museums in Singapore do that. The exhibition hall is complicated, so I went around and watched it, but I was kicked out twice because I couldn't see the special exhibition with the sticker. I just came out because I have a schedule for the next one, but I am very sorry.
Asia's Top 10 Museums,
Asian Civilizations Museum Singapore
The Asian Civilizations Museum in Singapore, which was selected as one of TripAdvisor's Top 10 Museums in Asia in 2014, is currently the largest museum in Singapore and is a great place to visit as it has a wealth of Asian civilization and historical materials. In particular, it has a lot of great materials for understanding Singapore's multicultural ethnic culture, so I highly recommend visiting.
The largest museum in Singapore,
Asian Civilizations Museum
The Asian Civilisations Museum in Singapore is located on the banks of the Singapore River and is a pale yellow neoclassical building, formerly used as a courthouse. It is one of the four major museums in Singapore and was the only museum in Singapore to be ranked among the top 10 museums in Asia in 2014, making it one of the first museums in the South Seas to study pan-Asian cultures and civilisations.
The museum mainly studies the history of civilizations in China, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Asia, and displays a variety of works, including exquisite ceramic figurines, Taoist and Buddhist figurines, imported ceramics, calligraphy, and other decorative arts. Visit the Asian Civilizations Museum to understand the development and cultural history of Asia in each period!
There are the most Asian exhibits!
As its name suggests, the Asian Civilizations Museum in Singapore is a place where you can see various Asian cultures and civilizations. There are a huge number of exhibits, including ceramics, sculptures, and Buddhist works from Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Asia, including China, Korea, and Japan.
Why we recommend it!
The reason why it is good to visit the Asian Civilizations Museum is because you can see and learn about various cultures of Asia in depth. Each floor has a different concept.
1st floor:
We encounter the remains of a shipwreck that was discovered while en route to the Middle East during the Tang Dynasty.
2nd floor:
You can see relics from various ethnic groups in Southeast Asia in one place.
3rd floor:
You can see jewelry and clothing from each country at once in the Jewelry and Fashion Hall.
