Travel destination recommendations!

1. Hirayu Onsen
Hirayu Onsen, a mountain village brimming with open-air hot springs and a variety of other hot springs, is a must-visit for anyone visiting the Okuhida area. Stop by Hirayu and relax in the warm waters.

2. Fukuji Onsen
Fukuji Onsen, located in the inner Okuhida region, is the smallest of the five hot spring villages. It boasts a unified streetscape and beautiful scenery, and is home to 11 inns. Many of these inns offer a cozy atmosphere, allowing for a relaxing and quiet stay. The onsen area also features a morning market where guests can purchase local vegetables and processed goods, as well as a footbath for guests to enjoy.

3. Okuhida Bear Ranch
This ranch is home to approximately 100 bears, including the Tsukinowa bear and brown bear. You can hold a cub and take a commemorative photo, or feed the bears and have fun. There's plenty of information and souvenirs about bears, so make them the perfect gifts for someone special.

4. Shinhotaka Ropeway
If you take the cable car to the observatory at an altitude of over 3,000 meters, you can see the Okuhida Hot Springs area and Kamikochi Valley at a glance.
