Miyakojima Departure Yabiji Boat Snorkeling Tour

Depart from Ikemajima and quickly travel to Yabiji.

We depart from Ikemajima, the closest island to Yabiji. The journey to Yabiji is a short 15-minute trip, making it a relatively safe option for those concerned about seasickness.
Upon arrival, enjoy snorkeling at Yabiji, Japan's largest coral reef complex. Home to over 100 coral reefs, the waters are so clear that coral patterns are visible even from the surface, and colorful tropical fish often come close. Depending on the sea conditions that day, you may be guided to the spot with the best conditions.

From gear fitting to underwater photography, we'll capture your memories in beautiful photos.

If you gather at the local shop, they'll provide all the gear you need, including a wetsuit, life jacket, mask (including a prescription mask), snorkel, and fins. Staff will even guide you through sizing and how to put the equipment on, so even first-time snorkelers can get ready without any worries.
Before departure, you'll receive a briefing on the day's sea conditions, route, and safety rules. You'll also be provided with a complimentary underwater digital camera. Equipped with five shooting modes, it's easy to operate, making it easy to capture photos and videos, even for those unfamiliar with underwater photography.

Keep your schedule simple and finish comfortably.

After gathering at Aqua Base, you'll receive check-in and a briefing. Once you're ready, depart for Yabiji on our private boat. The journey time is relatively short, at around 15 minutes, making it less stressful.
On-site, you'll visit two or three snorkeling spots and enjoy the diverse coral reef communities of Yabiji. Depending on sea conditions, you'll be guided to the best spot for the day, and safety is the top priority throughout the itinerary.
After the tour, you'll return to the shop and disband. Afterwards, you'll have access to a hot shower room, changing room, restroom, and makeup room, making it a great way to freshen up after your ocean activities. Free parking is also provided, making it convenient for rental car travel.
