Porto - Douro River & Douro Valley Day Cruise Tour (Breakfast & Lunch Included)

It was a fun trip and soooooo much to see from the boat. The breakfast and lunch were both ample portions and left us quite full until the snacks at the winery. T T The trip is a Long day, so all should be prepared.

The wine tour was very rushed. They didn’t explain much about the farm and got us on the bus as quick as possible.

A perfect day! Sailing along the Douro was relaxing and filled with interest as we gently sailed by charming villages and inlets. Experiencing the incredible engineering of the locks was great. Food and service onboard the Rota Da Douro boat was excellent. The quinta we briefly visited in Pinhao was located very near to where our boat docked. The visit provided a quick tour of the vineyards with interesting commentary provided by the Quinta’s guide. The trip concluded with a glass of port and a buffet offering local pastries, olives and cake. Our return to Porto by coach went well and we dropped of by Sao Bento which was perfect for our accommodation. We are visiting Porto again in October and will definitely be booking a similar trip.
