Meet your guide at your hotel in Bangkok city and travel to Wat Bang Phra by air-conditioned vehicle. During the journey, your guide will explain the history of Sak Yan, the meanings of the various designs, temple etiquette, and the ritual process.
Wat Bang Phra is a Buddhist temple famous for Thailand's traditional Sak Yan culture. Sak Yan is a tattoo culture that has been passed down through generations, combining Buddhist and traditional Thai beliefs, with each design carrying unique symbolic meanings.
Gao Yord or Hah Taew Designs and Blessing Ceremony
One of the representative designs, Gao Yord (Gao Yord), is characterized by its nine spires and is traditionally considered a symbol of protection and good fortune. Another prominent design, Hah Taew (Hah Taew), consists of five lines, with each line said to hold different meanings and blessings.
After receiving your chosen Sak Yan design, a traditional blessing ceremony will follow. This tour offers a unique opportunity to experience Thai religion and traditional culture up close, beyond just getting a tattoo. Upon completion, you'll return to Bangkok by vehicle and conclude your tour at your hotel.
