Yellowknife Aurora Lodge & Aurora Hunting Tour (Hotel Pickup)

Enjoy the Aurora Lodge at Madeline Lake and Aurora Hunting together

Depart from your hotel and head to Madeline Lake near Yellowknife. Experience both staying at a warm aurora lodge and searching for the aurora in one tour. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours and is accompanied by an English or Chinese guide.

Relax in the warm lodge and wait for the aurora

Wait for the aurora to appear in a spacious and warm cabin near Madeline Lake. While waiting, explore various fur and animal product displays, and enjoy board games, cards, mahjong, arcade games, foosball, and basketball shooting games.

Light snacks and warm drinks are provided, and you can use free Wi-Fi and warm, modern restrooms inside the lodge. Enjoy the aurora comfortably without freezing in the cold.

We'll move to find clear skies, avoiding the clouds

On cloudy nights, we spend more time traveling by vehicle to find clearer skies to increase the chances of seeing the aurora. If the aurora hunting spot is near the lodge, you can return to the lodge to warm up and rest.

Receive photos taken by a professional photographer

During the tour, a professional photographer will take photos of the participants. The original digital photos taken will be provided to all participants at no extra cost.

※ The aurora is a natural phenomenon, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
