Walk up Montmartre Hill
with a kid-friendly guide

This walking tour of Montmartre is specially created for families with children. A local guide with plenty of experience in children's and youth tours will share light historical stories and guide you through stops at playgrounds and carousels, keeping the kids fully entertained. The tour starts just outside the Anvers metro station and lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.

Ride a carousel and ascend to Sacré-Cœur Basilica

Before heading up the hill, the guide will purchase Montmartre carousel tickets for the children and allow some playtime at the playground. Once you reach the top of the hill, you will explore the interior of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica before moving on to Place du Tertre, the famous square where local artists display their paintings.

Pass by vineyards, cabarets, and the footsteps of legendary artists

Leaving the square to head down the hill, you will encounter working vineyards that still produce wine, as well as historic Montmartre cabarets like Lapin Agile and Moulin de la Galette. At a local park, kids can enjoy another playground session while adults take a quick 5-minute break. You will also explore the neighborhood where legendary artists like Picasso and Van Gogh once lived.

See the Wall of Love and finish in front of the Moulin Rouge

In the Abbesses district, you'll admire the famous "Wall of Love" (I Love You Wall), and children can ride the carousel at Place des Abbesses once more. The tour concludes in front of the Moulin Rouge at the foot of the hill.
