BESTWhen I arrived between 11:30 am and 12:00 am local time on weekends, there were few people, so there was no difference between the QR code and the ticket. However, around 2:30, when I came out after looking around, the line was even outside the building. If you plan to visit in the afternoon, it is better to buy a QR unconditionally, and if you are going to visit in the morning, just go with the ticket. Wow, it's the building I was looking forward to the most during my trip, and I really liked it enough to meet that expectation. The review said that I watched it for about 1 hour, so I thought about 1.5 hours and made a schedule.. I watched 3 hours with a friend haha. It's really gorgeous, and there's an audio guide (6.5€, in Korean), so I recommend you to see it. If there are 3 or less people in the group, it would be nice to rent one person and take turns listening to it every time you move. The explanation for each space is only 1-2 minutes, but you have to wait in line for a while at the spot to take pictures in turn anyway. The two of us are taking pictures, but it's burdensome, it's inconvenient to go to the bathroom, and the tablet is quite large and heavy... Anyway, I really liked the building itself!! Really must go!! The building is so pretty that it would be reasonable to take a picture with a phone camera (LG). Architecturally worth seeing!

The Opéra Garnier, officially known as the 'Académie Nationale de Musique - Théâtre de l'Opéra', was designed by French architect Charles Garnier. The building showcases the Neo-Baroque style, adorned with elaborate paintings and sculptures both inside and out. Highlights include the gilded interior and Marc Chagall's ceiling fresco, 'The Dream Bouquet'.
The Opéra Garnier is also famous as the inspiration for 'The Phantom of the Opera'. Opera and ballet performances are still held in the theater, offering a special experience for visitors.

A story about the Opéra Garnier

Does the exterior of the Paris Opéra Garnier remind you of anything? Parisians call the Opéra Garnier building a 'wedding cake'. It does look a bit like a cake, doesn't it? Especially the statues on top, which look like candles.
The interior of the building is a performance hall with approximately 2,106 seats. It's not huge, but it's incredibly ornate. Performances by Jean-Philippe Rameau, Christoph Willibald Gluck, and Jean-Baptiste Lully were held here, and to date, more than 600 operas and more than 300 ballet performances have been held.
Fall for the more splendid interior

If you see the interior of the Paris Opéra Garnier in person, you'll understand why it's called the most opulent building in Paris. The golden interior, the enormous chandeliers, and the splendor beyond that of a castle are truly dazzlingly beautiful.
Also, each and every ceiling mural is so elaborate and wonderful that it can be considered a work of art. You may get a sore neck from looking at the ceiling when you enter!
Little tips for the Opéra Garnier

Performances are still held at the Opéra Garnier. The 'flower' inside the theater is, without a doubt, the Chagall ceiling painting above. This work cannot be seen at any time. So when should you go to see it?
The answer is on days when there are no performances. On days when there are performances, you cannot enter the theater due to preparations for the performance. So be sure to visit on a day when there are no performances.
