From Sydney: Blue Mountains Zig Zag Railway Tour - Hotel Pickup

Ride the Zig Zag Railway

The tour starts with pickup from Sydney CBD hotels from 7:30 AM, or you can join at the Furama Hotel in Darling Harbour. Travel west to Clarence with your English-speaking driver-guide.

At Clarence, board a heritage train on the Zig Zag Railway, opened in 1869, for about 45 minutes through sandstone cliffs and native bushland. Take in the mountain scenery from the window and the railway's historic atmosphere.

Enjoy lunch and a village stroll
in Leura

Spend about 1 hour of free time in Leura. Have lunch at a local café, browse the boutique shops or relax with a coffee. Lunch, drinks and shopping are at your own expense.

See the Three Sisters and
Jamison Valley from Echo Point

Head to Echo Point to admire views of the Three Sisters and Jamison Valley. Take photos against the sandstone formations and sweeping mountain panorama.

Walk the national park or relax,
the afternoon is yours

Join an optional walking tour of about 1 hour 45 minutes in Blue Mountains National Park on trails with stairs and uneven terrain. If you prefer not to walk, stay at Echo Point to enjoy the views, take photos and relax. Before the group splits, your guide will tell you when and where to meet.

Leave the mountains around 4 PM and arrive back in Sydney around 5:30 PM. Guests picked up from hotels return to the same hotel, and those who joined at the Furama Hotel return there.
