Great knowledge and local insights. Thanks Juliette for taking us to all the places we would never have been able to find.

Amazing guides, really informative experience. It was great to do the walking tour at Sunset - not only was it beautiful but it was amazing to see how the rocks area comes alive in the evening. Would highly recommend this walking tour experience to anyone wanting to learn more about the area, and enjoy a couple of drinks or dinner in The Rocks at the end!

Program

Discover where Sydney began
in The Rocks at dusk

Explore The Rocks, Sydney's most historic area, on a guided walking tour that starts around sunset. Stroll along cobblestone streets and hidden lanes as you learn about the people and events that shaped the city.

Hear stories of convicts and Aboriginal culture

Your expert local guide shares stories of early Sydney, including convict history, colonial life, the rich history of Aboriginal culture, and how the area became today's vibrant precinct. In the sandstone courtyards and laneways, you'll also sense the enduring bond between Sydney Harbour and its people.

Watch the harbour at sunset from Observatory Hill

Walk up to Observatory Hill for panoramic views of Sydney Harbour and the Parramatta River. Enjoy one of the city's best views as the sun goes down, with your guide adjusting the route to the season's sunset time for the best photos.

Get local tips on food and shops

Along the way, your guide recommends great places to eat and drink and unique boutiques to visit during your stay in Sydney. It's an ideal activity before dinner in The Rocks. The tour ends back at the meeting point.
