Santa Cruz is a surf spot between Ericeira and Peniche where you can enjoy Atlantic waves along with the charm of a traditional fishing village. It is also a short drive from Nazaré, famous for its giant waves. Experienced surf guides check the coastline early every morning and take you to the right spot at the right time for your level, and lessons include surfboard and wetsuit rental.

End the day with the poolside bar, yoga and barbecues

After surfing, relax at the backyard pool, garden and shaded terrace, and visit the poolside bar serving beer, sangria, cider and wine. Daily yoga and stretching sessions are held, along with weekly barbecue and wood-fired pizza nights.

Explore the coast by bike or surf skate, or use yoga mats, beach games and skimboards for free. Daily activities such as hiking, pool parties, movie nights and day trips are also available, and free Wi-Fi makes it easy to combine your stay with remote work.
