Meet in front of the Arts Centre Melbourne Spire by 8:45 AM for a 9:00 AM departure. The tour runs as a small group of up to 20 people, traveling in a clean, air-conditioned minibus driven by your local guide.
Visit a mix of well-known and boutique wineries such as Yering Station, Soumah, Helen & Joey Estate and Payten & Jones. Along the way, learn about local wine history, the best varieties and the landscapes that make the Yarra Valley one of Australia's top cool-climate regions.
Enjoy a two-course lunch
with wine at Soumah
Lunch is shared with your fellow travelers at Soumah winery. It is a seasonal two-course meal, usually a shared antipasto platter followed by individual mains with a glass of wine. Please let us know of any dietary requirements when booking.
Choose wine, gin or beer for your fourth stop
At the fourth winery, Payten & Jones, you can choose a glass of wine or beer instead of a wine tasting. With the Classic Wine & Gin option, visit Four Pillars Gin Distillery instead for a generous tasting of four gins with your choice of mixer such as tonic (available daily). With the Classic Wine & Beer option, taste four core craft beers at Watts River Brewing (Thursday-Monday only).
Finish sweetly at the chocolate shop
Finally, stop at the Yarra Valley Chocolate & Ice Cream shop to enjoy sweet treats and pick up gifts for friends and family. Chocolates, ice cream and gifts are purchased separately on site. The tour ends at 111 Flinders St, Melbourne.
