Explore the glow worm caves in the daytime

Visit the glow worm caves for about 40 minutes in the daytime, with no need to wait until late at night. In the wild, light can harm glow worms, so this cave was specially designed to let you see them up close without a torch. A conservation expert guides you through the cave.

Enjoy free time in Tamborine Mountain village

After the cave, spend about 1 hour shopping and sightseeing in Tamborine Mountain village. Enjoy morning tea at a restaurant or café (at your own expense), and bring a reusable bottle to fill with fresh mountain water. You can also stop by a handmade fudge shop.

If you wish, you can also visit a winery for a guided wine tasting. The tasting fee is paid on site.

Explore freely by hop-on hop-off bus in the afternoon

After the morning tour, stay on Tamborine Mountain for about 4 hours and use the hop-on hop-off bus to explore waterfalls, the Rainforest Skywalk and other local attractions and eateries at your own pace. The afternoon is flexible, so let the operator know if there is a place you particularly want to visit. At the end of the day, the bus takes about 1 hour to return to the Brisbane drop-off points.
