Depart the Gold Coast
for Tamborine Mountain by night

Board a comfortable coach at Aquaduck Gold Coast in Surfers Paradise or a designated pickup point. Drive about 45 minutes up to the top of Tamborine Mountain while your local guide introduces the rainforest you'll explore.

Enjoy dessert and warm drinks at The Manor

Warm up for about 30 minutes at The Manor with cake and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. On a clear night, you can also take in a star-filled sky and the twinkling lights of the Gold Coast.

Walk through the rainforest at night with your guide

Spend about 1 hour on the Curtis Falls track, walking through subtropical rainforest with your guide. See how the forest comes alive at night and learn about the unique flora and fauna living in Tamborine National Park's ancient ecosystem.

See the glow of glow worms at Curtis Falls

When you reach the falls, look for colonies of glow worms shining in their natural habitat. To protect the glow worms, flash photography is not permitted. After the walk, return to Aquaduck Gold Coast, about 45 minutes by coach.
