From Brisbane: Moreton Island Tangalooma Day Trip & Whale Watching Cruise

Take the ferry from Holt Street Wharf
to Moreton Island

Check in at Holt Street Wharf in Pinkenba, Brisbane, and take the ferry to Moreton Island, enjoying the scenery for about 75 minutes. Cruises depart at 7:30 AM or 10:00 AM, and you can enjoy a complimentary drink (one soft drink, tea, coffee or water) on the boat each way.

Look for humpback whales on a 3-hour whale watching cruise

After a short stop at Tangalooma Resort, the whale watching cruise departs around noon. Regardless of your ferry departure time, the whale watching tour starts at noon. Board a comfortable catamaran, an ideal platform for viewing whales on the water, and listen to commentary on the habitat and behavior of humpback whales.

A light lunch and refreshments are served on board during the cruise.

Enjoy the resort facilities and an Eco Ranger experience

You can use the Tangalooma Island Resort facilities, including pools, restaurants and bars, all day. Learn about local marine life from Eco Rangers and, if you like, attend the "Discover the World of Dolphins" presentation at the Eco Centre at 3:15 PM.

The ferry departs Tangalooma jetty at 4:00 PM and returns to the Brisbane wharf at 5:15 PM.
