Board the Dreamtime Dive & Snorkel boat at Cairns Marlin Marina and head to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. You are welcomed by Indigenous guides, and experienced guides explain the natural history of the reef and its significance to the region's Aboriginal peoples.

Spend 5 hours in the water at two reef sites

Enjoy a total of 5 hours of water activities at two special sites on the outer reef. Snorkel over coral gardens of anemones, sea whips, clams and plate corals, home to clownfish, angelfish and batfish. Schools of giant trevally, red bass and sweetlips gather among the bommies, and turtles, cuttlefish, rays and sharks are often seen.

Snorkeling equipment, wetsuits and Lycra suits are provided, and you can add an intro dive or certified dive by selecting the relevant option.

Hear the creation story of the reef from an Indigenous ranger

An Indigenous ranger shares the creation story of the Great Barrier Reef and the stories of the Gimuy Walubara Yidinji, Gunggandji, Mandingalbay and Yirrganydji peoples, giving you a deeper cultural understanding of this diverse ecosystem. Morning and afternoon tea and a freshly prepared lunch buffet keep you going throughout the day.
