Get to know the reef
with a marine biologist presentation
At 10:30 AM before departure, join a free marine life presentation by a marine biologist (no booking required) and learn about the species and ecosystems you are about to see. Check in from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the pontoon office on D Finger, Cairns Marlin Marina.
Speed to a private mooring on a new fast boat
Depart at noon on a new purpose-built boat designed for speed and travel for about 1 hour. Head to a reef chosen by experts from 15 private moorings to suit the day's weather, with no more than 40 guests so it never feels crowded.
Snorkel for up to 2 hours with a guide
Experienced snorkel guides help beginners enter the water with confidence and explain the marine life below. During free time, explore the coral at your own pace and recharge with seasonal fruit and snacks. Afterwards, rinse off in the freshwater shower on deck.
Cruise back to Cairns over the sea
Return to Cairns by boat in about 1 hour, arriving at the marina at around 5:00 PM. Soft drinks and alcohol are available for purchase at the onboard bar.
