Cairns Silverswift Outer Reef 3-Site Snorkeling Day Tour

Board the Silverswift and
head to three Outer Reef sites

This trip of about 8 hours departs the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal at 8:30 AM and returns at 4:30 PM. The Silverswift is a catamaran custom-designed for diving and snorkeling, and it takes about 80 minutes to reach the first site. With a spacious sundeck, hot freshwater showers, change rooms and a bar on board, you can relax comfortably on the way.

Spend about 5 hours in the water at three Outer Reef sites chosen on the day from Flynn, Pellowe, Milln and Thetford Reefs.

Join a briefing and snorkel at every site

At each site, listen to a snorkel briefing, then put on your mask, snorkel, fins and lycra suit and enter the water. Large dive and snorkel platforms make getting in easy, and qualified lifeguards supervise in-water activities. Prescription masks are available at no extra cost.

At the third site, join a guided snorkel tour with a marine biologist and hear about the corals and marine life.

Add an introductory or certified dive

If you have never dived before, choose the introductory dive option. A professional dive instructor stays right beside you. Certified divers can do up to 3 dives at different sites, and all dives are guided. Dive equipment, including wetsuits, is provided.

Relax on board with meals and cruise back to Cairns

Morning tea, afternoon tea and a tropical buffet lunch with a variety of dishes are included. After your last swim, cruise about 75 minutes back to the Reef Fleet Terminal.
