Board a premium catamaran and
head to the Outer Reef

Check in at Finger A, Cairns Marlin Marina, by 8:40 AM and depart at 9:00 AM. Cruise about 90 minutes to the outer Great Barrier Reef on a catamaran with spacious decks and comfortable seating.

On the way, the crew gives a detailed briefing on the day’s activities, snorkeling techniques and reef conditions. Complimentary tea and coffee are available all day.

Snorkel for up to 2 hours with a guide

Snorkel for up to 2 hours at the Outer Reef site the captain chooses for the best conditions of the day. Even if it is your first time on the reef, the guide helps you build confidence in the water and points out hidden highlights of the coral gardens, tropical fish, corals and other marine life.

If you would like to try diving, pre-book the introductory dive option or pay on board. Introductory dives are limited to 12 people per day.

Enjoy a fruit platter and cruise back to Cairns

After snorkeling, freshen up with a hot freshwater shower and relax on deck with an afternoon fruit platter. Take in views of the Coral Sea on the roughly 90-minute cruise back, arriving in Cairns at around 2:00 PM.
