We were very pleased with both our guide and the trip. You have to move a little quickly at each location, but that is because you are fitting so much into one day. We really enjoyed the local guide. He added some historical context to the area that we didn't know as non-locals and made for a richer experience.

The tour was great! We got to see lots of places, and the guides were very nice. The lunch was simple, but the view of the waterfall was definitely worth it. Despite the rainy day, I still enjoyed the tour, even if it wasn't ideal for swimming.

Begin your Tablelands journey at the
Cathedral Fig Tree and Lake Eacham

After pickup from your hotel in Cairns or the Northern Beaches, head up to the Atherton Tablelands. Your first stop is the Cathedral Fig Tree, a towering rainforest giant of deep spiritual significance. Spend about 45 minutes here and enjoy a cultural performance.

Next, continue to Lake Eacham, a tranquil crater lake surrounded by ancient rainforest. Take a leisurely walk along the shore or enjoy a refreshing swim during your 30-minute stop.

See Millaa Millaa Falls and enjoy lunch at Mungalli Falls

Spend about 30 minutes at Millaa Millaa Falls, one of the most photographed waterfalls in Australia, where you can admire the falls and go for a swim. Then move on to Mungalli Falls for a delicious lunch made with fresh local ingredients (about 1 hour).

Slide down the smooth rocks of Josephine Falls

Spend about 1 hour at Josephine Falls. Slide down the smooth rock faces into cool, clear pools and enjoy your free time.

Finish at Babinda Boulders with Aboriginal legends

Your final stop is the mysterious Babinda Boulders. During about 45 minutes here, learn the Aboriginal legend that gives the site its cultural and spiritual importance, and take a swim. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off in Cairns.
