Cape Tribulation Ocean Safari Reef Snorkeling Tour - Small Group

The tour starts on the beach at Cape Tribulation. Board the Ocean Safari boat, which carries up to 25 guests, and speed for about 25 minutes to Mackay Reef. The vessel is a sturdy rigid inflatable boat based on an original rescue boat design and powered by 700-horsepower engines.

Snorkel two coral sites at Mackay Reef

Visit two snorkeling sites at Mackay Reef, full of diverse marine life and coral, and explore the underwater world for 2 hours. Snorkeling gear and a stinger suit/wetsuit are provided, and a personal snorkeling lesson means you can join without prior experience. Look out for sea turtles swimming over the reef, plus countless tropical fish, stingrays, giant clams and starfish.

Enjoy where two World Heritage areas meet

On most days you can see the Daintree Rainforest stretching along the coastline from the water. An experienced skipper and eco host guide you through two World Heritage areas, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree coastal rainforest, with reef commentary and an ecosystem presentation. A fresh seasonal fruit platter is served, and after snorkeling you return to Cape Tribulation in about 25 minutes.
