Enjoy three experiences in a nature park
within the World Heritage rainforest
Rainforestation Nature Park is a 100-acre (40-hectare) park in the heart of Kuranda's World Heritage rainforest, locally owned and operated. One ticket gives you access to the Army Duck Rainforest Tour, the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience and the Koala & Wildlife Park.
Ride an amphibious Army Duck
through the rainforest and across the water

Board a WWII amphibious Army Duck (DUKW) for a land and water adventure through the rainforest. These six-wheel-drive vehicles with propellers and rudders carry up to 30 passengers. Your Duck captain points out plants such as ferns, orchids, strangler figs and the infamous stinging tree, while you look for turtles, fish, eels and water birds on the water, and birds, pythons and other reptiles on land.
After disembarking, visit the tropical fruit orchard with more than 40 species of exotic fruit trees, where you can see and learn about fruits such as jackfruit, papaya, lychee, carambola and star apple.
Discover Aboriginal culture at the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience

Watch a traditional dance performance by Aboriginal performers in a rainforest amphitheatre. Join the Dreamtime Walk along the Rainbow Serpent track, see demonstrations of traditional spear throwing and didgeridoo playing, and learn how to throw a boomerang yourself.
Explore the Koala & Wildlife Park at your own pace

On a self-guided tour, meet crocodiles, kangaroos, wallabies, snakes, dingoes, a Tasmanian wombat and rescued Lumholtz tree-kangaroos. See Jack the Ripper, a giant crocodile over 5 m long and weighing nearly a ton, from a safe elevated walkway. You can also hand-feed the kangaroos and wallabies that roam freely around the park.
※ Souvenir photos with a koala or crocodile are not included.
