Queenstown Tandem Skydiving Experience

Head up into the Queenstown sky
with your tandem master

Meet at the meeting point on Shotover Street in central Queenstown to begin. All safety equipment, including a jump suit, skydiving cap, goggles and harness, is provided, and an experienced tandem master jumps with you.

Depending on your option, choose a height of 2,743 m (9,000 ft), 3,657 m (12,000 ft) or 4,572 m (15,000 ft). On the way up, enjoy sweeping views as the plane flies over Lake Wakatipu.

Free fall at 200 km/h

After leaving the plane, free fall at around 200 km/h for 30 to 60 seconds. Drop over the snow-capped peaks of the Southern Lakes region and feel New Zealand's dramatic scenery all around you.

Open the parachute and glide over the Wakatipu Basin

Once the parachute opens, glide slowly over the Wakatipu Basin for about 5 minutes and admire the lakes and mountains. After the experience, return to Queenstown with the included transport.

Enjoy the drop zone base facilities

At the drop zone base you can watch parachutes being packed and other adventurers gearing up for their jump. Use the lockers for valuables, free Wi-Fi, internet kiosks to view and upload your photos and videos, and outdoor games. Drinks, snacks, merchandise clothing and gifts are available for purchase.

※ The views from the sky may vary depending on the weather.
※ Personal cameras are not allowed on the jump, and photo and video packages are not included.
