Explore Auckland's city sights
with your guide in the morning

After morning pickup from your central Auckland hotel, enjoy a guided city tour of about 3 hours. Visit highlights such as the Domain and the Harbour Bridge while learning about Auckland's history and the local way of life and leisure.

Auckland sits on more than 50 dormant volcanic cones between the Waitematā and Manukau harbours. Stop at the North Shore and Mount Victoria for views over the city and harbour.

Take in the views at the Arataki Visitor Centre

In the afternoon, head to the Waitakere Ranges, about 30 minutes' drive from downtown Auckland. From the wide deck of the Arataki Visitor Centre, the gateway to the rainforest, enjoy panoramic views from the Tasman Sea to the Pacific Ocean, learn about local history and see the traditional Māori carvings that guard the centre.

Walk a rainforest trail with your guide

Enter the lush rainforest with your experienced guide and walk an easy forest trail among New Zealand's kauri trees and giant tree ferns, listening for the songs of native birds along the way.

Walk on the black sand of Piha Beach

Continue west to Piha Beach on the rugged west coast. Stroll along the black sand beach and enjoy a Kiwi-style afternoon tea with biscuits and tea, coffee or juice before returning to your hotel in the city.
