Sui was excellent and did a great job of showing us areas of Tokyo that we would have never otherwise seen. great to see a different side to Tokyo with a knowledgeable guide - thank you!

A couple of weeks ago me and my boyfriend took this tour and we were very happy with it. The guide was extremely prepared and kind and showed us some calm and hidden corners of Tokyo that we couldn’t imagine to see. The group was little and that made it more enjoyable and easy to hear what the guide was saying. We were lucky and even had the chance to see the Sakura tree that had started blooming. We absolutely recommend this tour!

Interesting, could be a little shorter in time less Visiting Shrines and memorials more little shopping streets or a moment to buy or drink something.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, weaving together history, culture, and those little neighborhood details you’d never discover on your own. What made the experience even more special were her thoughtful recommendations for food and shopping, each one spot-on and genuinely worth it. She also added lovely personal touches along the way, like timing a sakura mochi tasting perfectly with the season. It was a complete and immersive experience from start to finish. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a single thing. Absolutely perfect.

Die Tour war sehr schön und interessant. Es hat Spaß gemacht, diese Tour mit einer kleinen Gruppe zu machen. Der Guide war aufgeschlossen und sehr nett. Er (bzw. Sie) hat die Tour in Ruhe durchgeführt, sich Zeit genommen für unsere Fragen und Wünsche. Ich habe sehr viel erlebt. Danke, auch an unseren Guide. Jederzeit wieder.

Start at Nippori Station
and walk Yanaka's quiet backstreets

Meet your guide at the west exit of Nippori Station to start the tour. In a small group or private tour, you can chat closely with your guide as you walk. Stroll through quiet residential streets, see old and new houses and neighborhood shops, and get a close look at the daily lives of local people.

Learn about Japanese religion
at Nezu Shrine and Tennoji Temple

Travel back in time at Yanaka Cemetery
and historic buildings

Walk through Yanaka Cemetery, lined with beautiful trees, and see traditional buildings from the Meiji era (1868-1912) to the Showa era (1926-1989). You'll also stop by Yoshida Liquor Store, an old traditional Japanese sake shop.
