From Seoul: Seoraksan & Naksansa Temple or Nami Island Day Tour

Depart Seoul and head to
Seoraksan National Park

Depending on your option, meet your guide at Hongik University Station, Myeongdong, or Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station and travel by bus to Seoraksan. The ride takes about 2 hours and 50 minutes, so you can relax and enjoy the scenery along the way.

Enjoy a short hike in Seoraksan

Seoraksan National Park is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve made up of dozens of granite peaks, unique rock formations, and scenic hiking trails. Spend about 3 hours here, take a short hike, and enjoy the open views from the mountain.

The scenery changes completely with each season, and in autumn the ridges turn red and yellow with fall foliage. If you want to ride the cable car, the fare must be paid separately in cash on site.

Explore Nami Island or Naksansa Temple

With the Nami Island option, spend about 3 hours on this half-moon-shaped island, known as a filming location of the drama "Winter Sonata." Walk the paths lined with metasequoia and ginkgo trees, rent a bicycle, or simply relax by the river.

With the Naksansa Temple option, spend about 1.5 hours at Naksansa, a Buddhist temple set on coastal cliffs overlooking the East Sea. Wrap up your day in the mountains with sweeping ocean views.

Focus on Seoraksan during the foliage season

The Seoraksan fall foliage tour option runs only from October 12 to 31 and spends the time at Seoraksan National Park with no additional stops. After the tour, return to Seoul by bus in about 2 hours and 50 minutes.
