Highlights
This walking tour takes you through the old neighborhoods and quiet alleys of central Seoul to hear Korean ghost stories, folk legends and the dark history of the city. Your local host weaves Korean cultural beliefs about death and spirits together with true stories of violence and political upheaval. Visit places linked to ghost sightings, unsolved cases and legends passed down for generations, and see familiar Seoul landmarks in a different light. Choose between the 1.5-hour standard tour and the 2.5-hour tour with more stops.
Program
Walk Seoul's old alleys and hear
ghost stories and dark history
Meet your host at Anguk Station or Seodaemun Station and stroll through Seoul's old neighborhoods and quiet streets. Your host combines Korean ghost stories and urban legends with the real events that shaped the city's dark past, including stories of violence and political upheaval that most visitors never hear.
Visit places tied to ghost sightings and folk legends
Along the route, visit sites connected to ghost sightings, unsolved cases and local legends passed down through generations. Learn about Korean cultural beliefs about death and spirits to understand the stories behind each place.
Walk the streets and alleys of Jongno, Gwanghwamun and Seodaemun
The tour usually passes through Jongno, Gwanghwamun or Seodaemun, walking through parks, historic streets and alleys near the palaces. The schedule is tight because it follows the subway timetable. Choose the 2.5-hour tour for more stops and deeper stories.
※ Some stories cover violence and mature themes.
※ The starting station and route depend on the option you book.
