Highlights
This day tour departs from Seoul to visit Alpaca World and Nami Island in Gangwon-do, plus your choice of the Gangchon Rail Bike or the Garden of Morning Calm. At Alpaca World, feed the alpacas yourself and meet a variety of animals such as deer, rabbits, and camels. Depart Seoul and
head to Alpaca World
Group tours pick up travelers at Hongik University Station at 7:00 AM, Yejang Bus Terminal in Myeongdong at 7:45 AM, and Dongdaemun at 8:00 AM, then drive about 2 hours to Alpaca World. Private options include pickup from your accommodation in Seoul with a private vehicle and driver-guide.
Interact with animals at Alpaca World
Arriving around 10:00 AM, Alpaca World is an alpaca experience farm where you can feed the alpacas and take photos with them. You can also see other animals such as deer, rabbits, camels, owls, and eagles. Walking with your favorite alpaca costs extra and is paid on site.
Lunch is not included. Your guide will recommend a local restaurant with an average cost of KRW 15,000–20,000 per person, or you can choose another restaurant you prefer.
Walk the tree-lined paths and riverside of Nami Island
Arrive around 1:00 PM at Nami Island, famous as a Korean drama filming location. Stroll freely along its tree-lined roads, riverside paths, and seasonal scenery, or relax at local restaurants and cafes.
Enjoy the Rail Bike or
the Garden of Morning Calm
With the rail bike option, ride the Gangchon Rail Bike around 4:00 PM and enjoy views of the Bukhangang River. The standard bike is a shared 4-seater, and if available on the day, you can upgrade to a private rail bike for KRW 10,000 per person.
With the garden option, visit the Garden of Morning Calm around 4:30 PM. A hydrangea festival is held in summer and a light festival from mid-December. Depart for Seoul around 5:45 PM and get dropped off around 7:30 PM about an 8-minute walk from Hongik University Station. Private options drop you off at your accommodation.
