the Garden of Morning Calm in one day from Seoul
Depending on your option, meet at Myeongdong Station or Hongik University Station, or get picked up from your hotel in central Seoul on the private tour. Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with a professional guide who leads the tour in English. The tour lasts about 14 hours.
Discover the rocky peaks of Seoraksan National Park
With dozens of peaks and unique rock formations, Seoraksan is a national park designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. After a drive of about 2 hours 20 minutes from Seoul, you will spend about 2 hours 40 minutes here.
During the regular season, you visit Seoraksan Sogongwon Park, where the cable car is located. The cable car to Gwongeumseong Fortress is not included. During the autumn foliage season (late October to early November), you visit the Osaek (Jujeongol) trail instead, which involves a light hike of about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Stroll the metasequoia paths of Nami Island
A drive of about 2 hours takes you from Seoraksan to Nami Island. Made famous by K-dramas, the island offers exhibitions, photo spots and activities. Your Nami Island ticket and ferry are included, and you have about 2 hours 50 minutes to walk the metasequoia-lined paths and enjoy the river breeze.
Wander through the Garden of Morning Calm
After a drive of about 40 minutes, arrive at the Garden of Morning Calm, a garden filled with a wide variety of plants, flowers and trees. Enjoy about 70 minutes of free time to explore. In winter, the garden is especially popular for its light festival. Afterwards, return to Seoul in about 1 hour 30 minutes.
